There are two reasons why you may have not earned an extra life. First, in the Surge Challenge above, the heart is bound. Unless you break the bezel covering it, it will fall from the grid instead of flying up to your Extra Hearts. All you need is to smash it with your Surge Hammer!

Second, if you already have 6 lives and earn another, the heart will try to ascend to your Extra Lives but immediately fall down from the grid.

As you lose Exp, you will go down in Rank. Many players choose to take a hit on Score when their Lives go down to zero to get the three free lives. We advise never to lose your ranking. We have many things planned in the future for Jewelion that require you at least be the Rank of Archon: 2,000,000 points.

Knowing how to charge the Surge Pool is crucial to winning levels with greater ease. Every time you make a Match 4, the gemstones will fly to the Surge Pool on the left and power it up one gold bar at a time.

Once you have charged it 3 gold bars, you will have powered up the Rain Attack. To choose it, tap on the Rain Sign. To activate it, tap on the center of the pool when it zooms into the pool.

The trick to passing each level can heavily rely on which Power-Ups you upgrade. Choose wisely. The more levels you play, the more Star Points you earn, and thus the more powerful your Power-Ups become.

On higher levels, it is absolutely necessary to plan your upgrades thoughtfully. If you want to change or experiment with upgrading, just press the Reset Button to get your Star Points back and try a different upgrade path.

When Jewelion first loads, you will always be presented with a summary of your Daily Quests. However, to collect your earnings for Completed Quests, you must open the Quests Panel! To do this, click on the Quest Button on the Menu Bar.

A gold coin will appear on the top-right of the Quests Button to let you know you have gold to collect.
