Playing Jewelion on Facebook:

  • If you are having problems playing on your desktop or laptop you can download the latest Adobe Flash Plug-In for your browser.

Browser Issues:

  • Always check to make sure you have the latest version of your browser. Many things can go wrong if you do not have the lastest software.

Safari Browser for Mac

Playing Jewelion on Facebook with Apple Safari Browser:

Currently, there are some issues with Jewelion loading in the Safari Browser. As we work through those issues please try using Chrome or Firefox.

Safari Browser for Windows

Apple stopped supporting Safari on Windows with version 5.1.7 which was released on May 9th, 2012. At this time Apple has not chosen to restart support for Safari on Windows, thus we are unable to support Jewelion to run with this configuration.

We would love to have you join the ranks of many other players and friends on their journey playing Jewelion, however, you will need to launch the game in another browser. We recommend Firefox or Chrome.

Internet Explorer causes problems with some user configurations, so we do not recommend using IE.

Google Chrome

If Jewelion does not run even though you may have installed the latest Flash Player, it may because Chrome is still pointing to an older version of the Flash Player it shipped with.

To fix this, you can go into your Chrome Plug-Ins Manager and confirm Chrome is using the latest Flash Player 16.0.0.

Mac OS X Minimum System Requirements

Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or Higher
Flash Player 16.x or Higher

If you are using a Mac computer running OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or lower operating system or if your Mac is a G4 class system, then you will not be able to upgrade your computer to run OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or higher, which requires Intel 64 Bit architecture, and thus upgrade your favorite browser to a version that will support Flash Player 16.x or higher.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. As technology available to us developers from other providers of platforms and technology continue to advance, there will inevitably be legacy issues and compatibility problems with older systems. As a developer we would love to be able to serve the older systems out there as some of you still own and love to use, however, as our tools are updated to meet manufacturer's compatibility and standards, we lose the ability for backward compatibility beyond OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

Improve performance and game play experience on your tablet or mobile phone

Restart your device:

  • It is a good idea to reboot your device from time to time. If you notice that applications are running slower than usual, that is always a good indication to turn off your device and begin with a fresh start.

Close out of other applications on your device:

  • Your device uses RAM to peform all the fun operations it does on every app you use. It always helps to free up the RAM by closing out of other applications that could be running in the background. We know of one case where the were seventy-five applications running in the background and the device was never rebooted for several weeks! Once the iPad had other apps closed out and rebooted, it ran like a charm!

Turn off Visual FX:

  • Jewelion now has a checkbox under the Options Panel to turn on and off Visual FX. Jewelion was not made to run on the iPhone 3GS. It is also not advised for the iPhone 4/iPod 4. The game should run fine with effects on for the iPhone 4s, 5s, and 5c but having effects off can help if you notice slow down.

Installation Issues

Game is crashing or will not install:

  • If you are experiencing this, please let us know what device you are using. Jewelion runs fine on all the devices we tested. It was not designed to run on Apple devices with 512MB or less. For GooglePlay, it cannot run on devices with 1GB or less. If there is anything we can do to optimize further for your device, we will do so. We rely on your feedback.
  • Try going through the steps above for restaring your device and closing out of apps.
